Ironbark Grey combines deep charcoal tones with subtle flecks of lighter grey, creating a refined, contemporary finish that complements both modern and traditional interiors. Its finely textured loop pile offers understated elegance while showcasing the natural character and warmth of pure wool, making it a timeless addition beside the hearth.
Wool is naturally flame retardant and has long been valued as one of the most suitable fibres for hearthside furnishings. Its dense, resilient structure provides durability, insulation, and comfort underfoot while offering reassuring natural performance near the fireside. As with all hearth furnishings, appropriate clearances from heat sources should always be observed.
Designed specifically for use in front of fireplaces and wood stoves, Ironbark Grey frames the hearth beautifully, bringing together warmth, texture, and timeless practicality.
Finished with colour-matched rustic overlocking and a durable woven hessian backing.
Each rug is finished with a rustic hand-machined overlocked edge. The subtle unevenness of the overlocking forms part of the rug's artisan character, enhancing its natural, handcrafted appearance.

Our Wool Hearth rugs are designed to assist in protecting floor surfaces from incidental ash or sparks but should not be considered fireproof or a substitute for appropriate fireplace safety practices.
