Wool is naturally flame retardant and has long been valued as one of the most suitable fibres for hearthside furnishings. Its dense, resilient structure provides durability, insulation, and comfort underfoot while offering reassuring natural performance near the fireside. As with all hearth furnishings, appropriate clearances from heat sources should always be observed.

Designed specifically for use in front of fireplaces and wood stoves, Weathered Limestone frames the hearth beautifully, bringing together warmth, texture, and timeless practicality.

Finished with colour-matched rustic hand-machined overlocking and a durable woven hessian backing.

Each rug is finished with a rustic hand-machined overlocked edge. The subtle unevenness of the overlocking forms part of the rug's artisan character, enhancing its natural, handcrafted appearance.
